Retailer marketing decision

Retailers search new marketing strategies to attract customers. Retailer makes marketing decision about their target market, by product quality, price, promotion, and place.
Product
Retailer offer such merchandise product that no other competitors carries such as private brand.
Price decision
Retailer’s price must fit its target market, product and competition. Retailer likes to charge high markup and achieve high volume.
Promotion decision
Retailer used many tools for the promotion of its product like advertising, personal selling. They advertise in newspaper, magazine, radio, television. Personal selling require trained salespeople in how to greet customers, meet their needs and handle their complaints.
Place decision
Location is very important for retailers. Retailer select location that is accessible to the target market in area that is consistent with the retailer’s positioning.
