SWOT analysis is a tool for auditing an organization and its environment. It is the first stage of planning and helps marketers to focus on key issues. SWOT analysis stands for strength, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.

Strengths: could be specialist marketing expertise, a new innovative product or service.

Weaknesses: could be poor quality goods or service, damage reputation and location of business.

Opportunities: could be a new international market, a market vacated by an ineffective competitors.

Threats: could be a new competitors in your home market, price wars
with competitors.
