2. Are you creating the product for the right reasons? If you are just trying to make a fast buck by doing the least work possible, then you are in the wrong industry. Information products are a lot of work to get started. If you create a "fluff" product, your customers will see right through it and you won't make a dime.
3. Have you gone through every inch of your product to make sure that you are providing the most thorough and easy-to-understand answer? Just because something is basic to you does not mean that your audience understands it. Make sure that you have explained every detail before your product goes out. Have someone go through it that is close to you.
4. Make sure that you are not inventing a new market. Go for markets where people already have a proven track record. Look for ways to improve a current product by 10% instead of creating an entirely new niche where you will have to educate your prospects.
5. Are you creating a huge amount of value for the price that you are charging? Your customers will never worry about the price of your product if you are providing them with much more value than the sticker price. If the customer starts to question the price, you are going to need to pack on many more pounds of value or drop it accordingly.
