Implications for marketers?

I think that category (a) doesn't require much marketing, specially complex marketing plans, if the product being sold is convenience. But many great companies in world today were and are start-ups, and they do require much deep and sophisticated marketing problems. Just one example from Pakistan: www.mycampus.pk.

Your thoughts?

we can not divide these three types and can not say that marketing is much more important for this business or for other two. usually partnerships, corporations are comparatively capital intensive businesses so they do alot of marketing as compare to sole owner ship. due to this generally we obsereved last two types more.....
your thoughts amy make my concept more clear

A simple street general store is usually a sole ownership entity. The owner does marketing but to a small extent, due to less resources. still marketing is there ,He may provide free home delivery to the near by customers.
