QUOTES BY SETH GODIN ON MARKETING

1."If you're a marketer who doesn't know how to invent, design, influence, adapt, and ultimately discard products, the you're no longer a marketer. you're deadwood."

2."Making promises and keeping them is a great way to build a brand."

3."Marketing begins before the product is created."

4."People don't believe what you tell them. They rarely believe what you show them. They often believe what their friends tell them. They always believe what they tell themselves."

5."Advertising is just a symptom, a tactic. Marketing is about far more than that."

6."If you're marketing from a fairly static budget, you're viewing marketing as an expense. Good marketers realize that it is an investment."

7."A product for everyone rarely reaches much of anyone."

summary: these quotes generally apply to whatever we have studied in our marketing class about brands, products, advertising, innovation and general marketing and these quotes generally made me understand more about marketing and i would certainly agree with all of these

I want to add something:

"Marketing is what you do when your product is no good."
