The process of evaluating each market segment’s attractiveness and selecting one or more segments to enter. For example, Pizza Hut targeted market defines them as a family product. This is because they don’t really directly market their customers. They target everyone where as their competitors target certain gender or age such as McDonald's, KFC etc. But pizza Hut target a wide range of customers. This is because they want to make more money. They have many competitors and they are bound to try everything to cop up tops. They try to offer something different with their product as well. They offer a range of stuffed crusts. They also have a lot of variety of vegetarian and sea food pizzas as compared to others like Domino’s Hut, Pizza Inn, Pizza Lovers and Pizza place etc. They have also deals. Such as few months ago they had a deal which was “Buy one large Pizza and get one medium Pizza and coke free”. Similarly they had an offer which was “Buy two medium Pizzas and get two bowls of Salad and coke free”. These are some of the competitive ideas that attract customers.

This is absoluTe correct point which u raise.. do U remember his deal. personal pan pizze + 0.5 was offering just in 150... even the locl shops of pizza who offer fresh samall pizza about 160. if u bought half leter it will cost round about 185.. So pizza hut is International brand. It attraacts too much customers by his personal pan deal..
