Today i find an interesting concept of Marketing communication. Which is known as ABC concept of marketing communicaion.
ABC's of marketing communitation Stands for " always be communicating" to attract and retain the customers. which i am trying to describe beriefly.
1- Always mean to creat , consistant, relaible and attrective messages to your customers. try to repeat the message no matter whther its about new product, promotion of product but your message should be repeat again and again whetehr on print media, electronic media.
2- Be clear, be concious,be specific mean ur mesage should be crispy, attention getter, and easy to understand. Because now a days people dont have much time to think in deep thought about your product. If your message will be punchy then there are more chances to get more attention of your customers.
3- Communicating with customers states that always attach with ur customers. Now a days customers are more likely to respond in a marketing communition ,by giving feedback. It can be possible through attaining online forums, helding survays and other practices.
Openion:
ABC Marketing communication is an important tool to involve and attract more customers towards your businss. It helps to develop a base for your customers. Effective communication will help to increase the customer loyality. And there is also a posibility that existing customers might produce new customers by telling them about your efficint network of communicating with customers.

Famous Marketing Blunders
Today while i was surfing I found some interesting Marketing bluders on a link some of them were cross culturel marketing blunders and some were others, I'd like to share some of them with u.
1- Coors a shoe firm introduced a slogen " Turn into loose" which were translate into spanish was "suffer From Diarhhea."
2- Vacuum Manufacutrer introduced a shamful slogen "Nothing sucks like an Electrolux."
3- when colgate introduced a tooth paste in France called Cue, Its the name of notorious magazine.
4- Pepesi Slogan " Come alive with ur generation" translated into " Pepse brought back ur ancestors back from grave"
5- A cologne for men pictured a pastoral scene with a man and his dog. It failed in Islamic countries dogs are considered unclean.
6- An American business person refused an offer of a cup of coffee from a Saudi businessman. Such a rejection is considered very rude and the business negotiations became stalled.
Opeion:
As the above mention blunders shows that, A businessman or marketer should be aware about the culture and languge of other couontries. If he dont care then he has to face the music and also to bear un beleiveable loss. Because understanding of the culture of other countries play a vital role in the promotion of ur product in other countries. As above mention examples shows Pepsi make blunder whoes slogen produced meaning that t will bring ur passed persons from grave. As in a clothes Ad By showing dog with a man, in the result that product could not get fame in Mulim coutries. And by Refusing cup of coffee the american lost his business deal with soudi arabins.
SO every axpect of other culture should be evaulate, whether that is language, ethics, or religious etc.
There are lots of other interesting examples on the link given below which will gave u more clear pircture of marketign blunders by World's most leading Frims.

3 quick tips to keep ur customers hapy
http://www.omstrategy.com/category/copywriting
During the browsing from the above mentioned link i found 3 importent sentence relating to convaying message to ur customer.
1- Write in a way your customers can easily understand
2- Don’t say it in 6 lines when you could say it in 1
3- Don’t use double-negatives & other language that make people feel you’re trying to trick them (’untick if you do not…’)

The frist point is too importent. Because if ur customer is unable to uderstand what u r trying to say, whether that is in his/her favour, its just ambigous. Mean to say use simple or understandable language. Secondly, Try to convey ur message in a summarized way, mean dont prolonged it. Thirdly, If u will use tricky words, that can definately creat lots of doubts in the mind of customers. Then he might be turned away from ur services or what ever.
From the above mention link u can find an example which will help u to understand all of the very easily.

Im portence of communication....
We all know that communication skills is an mportant tool for an individual in every field of life, whether a local citizen, sales man, business man, lawyer, teacher or what else without this tool he can not be successful in his field
In a recent survey of recruiters from companies with more than 50,000 employees, communication skills were cited as the single more important decisive factor in choosing managers. The survey, conducted by the University of Pittsburgh’s Katz Business School, points out that communication skills, including written and oral presentations, as well as an ability to work with others, are the main factor contributing to job success.

Inbound Marketing Vs Out Bound marketing.
http://blog.hubspot.com/blog/tabid/6307/bid/4416/Inbound-Marketing-the-Next-Phase-of-Marketing-on-the-Web.aspx
Above pasted link contains interested type of Marketing which consumes lesser money... but provide a very useful resultss. which is " Inbound Marketing".
Lets see first what is outbound Marketing
Outbound Marketing focused on catching customers by showing commercial adds, by advertising and junk or unknown E-mails. But this technique is not good to target a customer.. Because this technique target the all type of customers not the desired customers... which takes lot of time and produces very less results....
But inbound marketing is intirely different approach.. this includes Blogs, Ebooks and publishing interesting videos on youtube.. The purpose of this marketing is to target exect customers and well educated customers to search for more informatuons through these sources... this takes less mooney,,, and produces greater results..

It is important to note that in the past two years, time spent by consumers online has grown from 29% to 34%, but advertisers spend only 12% of their budget on Internet marketing.
In my openion the advertiser should increase thier budget of advertising on these social sits. Because by this practice they can easily target the most of the costuer. As thier spending time on thses social sites is also increasingly.

Benefits of paying attenton to Bus Hawkers.
Guys last time i was travelling by a bus . And i found a person who was selling Perfumes of XYZ Co. I dont know whethere that was legel or illegel Co. But i was just focusing on his presenetion skills, that person might not be well educated but his dress code, and fluencey in spekaing was very attrecticve. he just entered in the bus. And he got the attention of the people by saying salaam and by speaking some famous 1 or 2 qoutes. And then he start introducing the features of his product. At that point o f time there was a pin drop silence in the bus and all people start listening to him. when he ended at least 25 out of 40 people bought that product.
I dont think so that his product was as good. But the way he present the product was mind blowing. I wasn't excpecting that the people might bought that product open heartedly. Just because of his Presntation and marketing skills people bought a lot more then my expectation.
The point is if u want to be good at ur presentation skills u should be foucused on ur sarroundings, just see how people catch others attention. and sells their Products. Specially Transport hawkers.. Believe me they have excellent skills. If u will compare ur skills with them, i can gurantree u will learn a lot.

Brain storming Rules
Here are follpwing brainstorming rules which i read from news papper and summary of those is written down..
1- gathered every type of idea if u r in a group and dot make criticisim on one's idea.
2- just look for the quantity for the idea not the quality of the ideas. coz some time bad ideas can spark to a good one.
3- dont make any discussion on ideas, just generate ideas and discuss them after completetion of brainstorming session.
4- if somebody generates an idea listen carefully not to build on that. just try to tell him to explain.. give ur sujjestions after him..
5- your brain storming session should have some limit as it suits u like 20 mints. 30 mins or what ever ur choice.
these are some key ideas i think everyone should follow whether they are in group or metting.. Respect of ones idea is the key of group brain storming...

Stew Leonard's Rules
Guys the most interesting part of our book which I foundwas from Ch 1about "Stew Leonard's Rules" which he made after creating "Disneyland of dairy stores"
Rule # 1:
The Customer is always Right.
Rule # 2:
If the Customer if ever wrong reread the rule 1.
These rules should adopt by every company wheather they are producer of food stuff, garments or whats ever. Customer is always right mean if coustomers say any thing wrong about ur product or company u should not be disheart, u should seem that they are giving u feed back. But if u if u dont care about them , then there is possibility that they might swith to ur competitors products. Which are already waiting for that.
2nd rule which is more important then Rule # 1. Says if u ever thing that ur customers are ever wrong then reread rule # 1. In this Rule Stew make a very smart thinking , Actually he rephrase Rule 1 in seocond rule.. he says if u ever find that customer is wrong then u should not blame him u should immidiately look into urself that, they cant b wrong there is some fault in urs hand... ,, Personally i m very much impresses by these small rules..

Price setting Strategies
There are many ways to price a product. Let's have a look at some of them and try to understand the best policy/strategy in various situations.
Premium Pricing.
Use a high price where there is a uniqueness about the product or service. This approach is used where a a substantial competitive advantage exists. Such high prices are charge for luxuries such as Cunard Cruises, Savoy Hotel rooms, and Concorde flights.
Penetration Pricing.
The price charged for products and services is set artificially low in order to gain market share. Once this is achieved, the price is increased. This approach was used by France Telecom and Sky TV.
Economy Pricing.
This is a no frills low price. The cost of marketing and manufacture are kept at a minimum. Supermarkets often have economy brands for soups, spaghetti, etc.
Price Skimming.
Charge a high price because you have a substantial competitive advantage. However, the advantage is not sustainable. The high price tends to attract new competitors into the market, and the price inevitably falls due to increased supply. Manufacturers of digital watches used a skimming approach in the 1970s. Once other manufacturers were tempted into the market and the watches were produced at a lower unit cost, other marketing strategies and pricing approaches are implemented.
Premium pricing, penetration pricing, economy pricing, and price skimming are the four main pricing policies/strategies. They form the bases for the exercise. However there are other important approaches to pricing.
Psychological Pricing.
This approach is used when the marketer wants the consumer to respond on an emotional, rather than rational basis. For example 'price point perspective' 99 cents not one dollar.
Product Line Pricing.
Where there is a range of product or services the pricing reflect the benefits of parts of the range. For example car washes. Basic wash could be $2, wash and wax $4, and the whole package $6.
Optional Product Pricing.
Companies will attempt to increase the amount customer spend once they start to buy. Optional 'extras' increase the overall price of the product or service. For example airlines will charge for optional extras such as guaranteeing a window seat or reserving a row of seats next to each other.
Captive Product Pricing
Where products have complements, companies will charge a premium price where the consumer is captured. For example a razor manufacturer will charge a low price and recoup its margin (and more) from the sale of the only design of blades which fit the razor.
Product Bundle Pricing.
Here sellers combine several products in the same package. This also serves to move old stock. Videos and CDs are often sold using the bundle approach.
Promotional Pricing.
Pricing to promote a product is a very common application. There are many examples of promotional pricing including approaches such as BOGOF (Buy One Get One Free).
Geographical Pricing.
Geographical pricing is evident where there are variations in price in different parts of the world. For example rarity value, or where shipping costs increase price.
Value Pricing.
This approach is used where external factors such as recession or increased competition force companies to provide 'value' products and services to retain sales e.g. value meals at McDonalds

Things to Consider When Pricing Products
Some days ago while surfing I find an interesting stratagy about pricing a product or factors which are involved with it are as follows.
1-What is business selling: it states that a business should know about the value of their product. If they set the price of a product lower as compared to their competitors then their product will be perceived thier customers too low in quality. But If they will set a price of thier product higher as compared to thier competitors , then the competitors will take away your those customers who feel that product is over priced.
2- knowledge about target customers: mean you should be clear about your target customers, which shops they visits, what they are looking or, how much they spend on them.. It will help you a lot about setting a standered price.
3- What competitor is doing: the proprietor should know about what price is charged by the competitor. And what the customers get in returns in term of value of their spending of money.
4- knowledge about economy situation: A businessman should be clear about the current economy of the country. Whether there is inflation or deflation. What are the earnings of the people. This knowledge will help him a lot to understand whether he should incresae te price or cut it down.
Openion:
In my openion setting a price of product required a bit of struggle together informations, But it protect your product from wasting. And these points are excellent toward reasonably pricing of a product to increase ur sales and attracting more customers. Because if ur prices will be reasonable then there are ample chances that the customers will turn towards ur products as compared to your competitors.
